Natural model photos at home: a simple checklist.

A practical guide to preparing clear, natural application photographs at home, from light and framing to upload checks.

Find soft, even light

Stand near a window during daylight, facing towards the light. Choose a plain wall and move distracting objects out of the frame. Avoid direct sun across your face and bright windows behind you. Ask someone to take the photographs or use a steady phone support and timer.

Keep the introduction natural

Choose simple clothing that lets your shape and posture remain clear. Keep styling comfortable and avoid heavy filters, retouching or effects. Use recent photographs that show how you look now. A professional shoot is not required to introduce yourself.

Show a few clear perspectives

Start with a headshot looking towards the camera, a side profile and a full-length image with your feet visible. Leave a little space around the frame. Review each image at full size for focus, exposure and an unobstructed view before choosing your strongest photographs.

Prepare your files before applying

The Glacier Models application accepts one to five JPEG, PNG or WebP photographs, up to 5 MB each. If your phone saves another format, export a copy in one of those supported formats. A portfolio link is optional and does not replace the required photographs.

Send one considered application

Choose your country and enter your city, town or village. Select every role that interests you in the same application and write a short introduction about your interests and availability. This application route is for adults aged 18 or older. Check your email address and keep the reference after submitting; an application does not guarantee representation or work.
